Villa, since Primary Six, but recently started to watch every Arsenal game,
even hope them to beat Villa.
Favourite
famous line:
"I have never met a wise man. If so, it's a woman." - Kurt Cobain.
Advice
for new managers hoping to be successful in LBM and all FSL software based
leagues: First
and foremost, patience is the most critical thing. Only then comes planning and
the other stuff. If you are not patient enough, you might not be able to get
further in the game. Bear the losses and disappointment, but in the meantime
start planning.
If you
take an existing team, try your best with what you have. Get rid of the old and
expensive players, by not renewing their contracts. Try to get young players
(below 20) as their wage is cheaper and their speed is high and loses none by
aging.
If you
have a team full of youngsters at the beginning of the season, concentrate on
training them. That will mean you will suffer in the first season. But the most
important thing is you should train your players until they reach full skill
level (99) for their position. Example, your defender should be trained until
his TK is 99, your attacker should be trained until his SH is 99 and so on.
Once you have finished, you can train your players in their other areas (Eg:
Defenders - Ps/Sh/Kp and so on). This will be a bonus for your team. Then most
likely you will have the strongest team in the league.
Try to
have your players on contract for the maximum number of years (5). This will
save you money on expensive renewals.
Comments
about LBM: Nothing much. It will be unfair to say good things. But I think the
league still needs a lot of improvements
Hopes for LBM: I hope the league can be around for as long as possible. But the most important thing is for everyone to enjoy their participation the best they can.

Year joined: 2003
Team managed: Destro F.C.
Honours won: Runner-Up 2003 Academy League
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (but I am
English)
Occupation: Musician/Recording Studio Engineer/Producer
DOB: 4th November 1963
Marital Status: Married (To a Canadian)
Favourite M-League team: Selangor (I liked the way the name sounded)
Favourite oversea team: Tottenham Hotspur
Favourite famous line: "The more 'now' you are, the more 'then'
you'll be." (which means that trends will go away but the best things in
life are always with us).
Advice for new managers hoping
to be successful in LBM and all FSL software based leagues: If you play only to win, you will not have
much fun. Only one team will win the league but it is fun to help your team get
better and one day it will be you who wins the league. Patience is what you
need to win the league but you can have fun every week until you do.
Hopes for LBM: I hope that LBM will carry on for ever and
that every team will have a manager. One day, it would be great if there
was another division added but we must get more managers first.
